چکیده

امواج زمین‌لرزه و انفجار گذرا و غیر‌ایستا هستند. در لرزه‌شناسی همانند مهندسی زلزله، هنوز اغلب داده‌ها با تحلیل فوریه پردازش می‌شوند. به دلیل تفاوت در ویژگی‌های غیرخطی و غیر‌ایستای این داده‌ها، روش تحلیل فوریه نمی‌تواند جزئیات اطلاعات را در پراش امواج، دگرشکلی شکل موج و توزیع انرژی- بسامد آشکارسازی کند. در این مقاله، یک روش جدید برپایه تجزیه مد تجربی (Empirical Mode Decomposition) حوزه زمانی ارائه شده است که تحلیل ساختارهای بلند و کوتاه دوره این امواج را آسان می‌سازد و بینشی در مورد بسامدهای ذاتی را فراهم می‌آورد. پس از اعمال آن روی داده‌های لرزه‌ای، مدهای نوسانی امواج زمین‌لرزه و انفجار با هم مقایسه می‌شوند، رابطه‌ای برای هر گروه از داده‌های همنوع و همچنین تفاوت‌هایی بین امواج غیر همنوع بر اساس توابع مد ذاتی (Intrinsic Mode Functions) تولید شده، به‌دست می­آید. از بررسی‌های به عمل آمده نتیجه می­شود که ترسیم ماکزیمم بسامد‌های  IMF مختلف هر لرزه‌نگاشت بر حسب محل قرارگیری آنها، یک عامل تشخیصی بسیار مؤثر است و به این ترتیب انفجارها و زمین‌لرزه‌ها به راحتی از یکدیگر قابل تفکیک هستند. همچنین نشان داده می‌شود که روش مورد نظر نسبت به روش‌های پیشرفته‌ای مانند روش احتمالاتی غیرمارکوفی گسسته، کارآیی بیشتری دارد.
