چکیده

سازند کنگان با ستبرای 115 متر شامل یک توالی کربناتی- تبخیری است که به‌عنوان بخشی از بزرگ‌ترین مخزن کربناتی در میدان پارس جنوبی در خلیج فارس به‌شمار می‌رود. بررسی سنگ‌نگاری دولومیت­های سازند کنگان منجر به شناسایی 5 نوع دولومیت شامل دولومیکرایت، دولومیکرواسپار، دولواسپار، سیمان دولومیتی و دولومیت زین اسبی شده است. همچنین مطالعات عنصری دولومیکرایت­ها و دولومیکرواسپارها نشان‌دهنده افزایش نسبی مقادیر استرانسیم و سدیم و کاهش نسبی مقادیر آهن و منگنز در نمونه­های دولومیکرایتی نسبت به نمونه­های دولومیکرواسپارایتی است. یادآوری می‌شود که روند ایزوتوپی اکسیژن- کربن در این دولومیت­ها نشان‌دهنده تأثیر اندک دیاژنز جوی (در دولومیت­های نوع اول، دوم و سوم) و دیا‍ژنز تدفینی (در دولومیت‌های نوع چهارم و پنجم) است. یادآوری این نکته ضروری است که اگرچه دولومیکرایت­ها در محیط سبخایی تشکیل شده­اند، دیا‍ژنز جوی اندکی را تحمل کرده­اند. همچنین منشأ منیزیم برای دولومیکرایت­ها، منیزیم آب دریا و یا آب‌های میان‌‌دانه­ای در حال تعادل با آب دریا و برای دولومیت­های دانه درشت­تر در سازند کنگان احتمالاً آب­های محبوس میان‌دانه­ای و یا شورابه­های حوضه­ای است. دمای ته­نشستی کربنات­های سازند کنگان با استفاده از سنگین­ترین ایزوتوپ اکسیژن در نمونه­های دولومیکرایتی، 5/44 درجه سانتی­گراد محاسبه شده است.
