چکیده

محدوده مورد مطالعه در بخش جنوبی نقشه چارگوش طرقبه، در فاصله 90 کیلومتری جنوب باختری مشهد قرار گرفته است. سنگ‌های منطقه مورد مطالعه بازالت قلیایی و تراکی‌آندزیت هستند. کانی‌های اصلی شامل پلاژیوکلاز، پیروکسن و به مقدار کم الیوین وکانی‌های فرعی روتیل، اسفن ، آپاتیت و بافت چیره آنها هیالومیکروپورفیری است.نمودارهای مختلف، سرشت ماگمای مولد را قلیایی (آلکالن) نشان می‌دهند. روند خطی بین Rb/Nb و K/Nb در سنگ‌های منطقه، می‌تواند نشان‌دهندة مخلوط شدن دو منبع گوشتة سست‌کره‌ای(استنوسفری) و سنگ‌کره‌ای(لیتوسفری) باشد.  همچنین بی‌هنجاری مثبتPb  وغنی‌شدگی LREE در نمونه‌های مورد مطالعه نشانة آلایش پوسته‌ای است، پایین بودن  SiO2و منیزیم بالا، به‌ویژه  بی‌هنجاری منفیNb  ،  نقش بسیار مهمی در سنگ‌زایی(پتروژنز) آلودگی پوسته‌ای دارند. محیط زمین‌ساختی این سنگ‌ها نشانگر بازالت‌های درون صفحه‌ای بوده و با توجه به وجود فسیل مرجان در رخساره‌های کربناتی- ماسه‌سنگی منطقه که متعلق به سن دونین است، می‌توان چنین استنباط کرد که سنگ‌های آتشفشانی منطقه در محیط کم‌ژرفا طی فاز کالدونین فوران کرده‌اند.
